The No Mercy Extreme Fighting promotion and Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz teamed together July 16, 2010 at Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, Colorado for Clash Of The Titans 8, "Ladies night." This was an eleven bout card where Colorado fight fans for the first time in the state's history were treated to a night of all female MMA bouts.
Main event: Brittany Howard vs Angela Samaro in an professional bout for the Clash of the Titans 127 lb. title. Each fighter came out with strong strikes that landed well. After initiating the clinch Samaro scored with a huge slam takedown and immediately transitioned to full mount. From top position Samaro worked strong GNP to set up a transition to back control then she worked for an RNC. Howard defended the choke, but Samaro switched to an armbar and got it closed off for the title winning submission at 2:01 of round one.
Lacey Schuckman vs Carla Esparza in an professional bout. Both fighters came out punching and Esparza was able to get a head and arm throw. Schuckman worked back to standing and Esparza again got the head and arm throw and on the ground she worked between GNP and submission attempts until Schuckman scrambled to her feet. Once again Esparza got a head and arm throw and worked position and strikes to end the round. Round two had Esparza scoring yet again with an head and arm throw to set up a scramble for position. Esparza was able to flurry with strikes before attaining back control in order to set up the RNC and get the win at 2:37 of round one.
Jennifer Berg vs Amy Davis in an professional bout. All of round one was spent standing with the majority of the action taking place in the clinch where both fighters landed solid knee strikes and elbows. Round two saw more Thai work early before Berg slipped to the ground and Davis took full mount, worked GNP, then secured back control before setting an RNC. Berg escaped and worked GNP before defending an armbar and working more GNP to end the round. Round three was again all standing action with Davis landing brutal body kicks and elbows while Berg searched for openings for her punches. The scorecards were read and the winner was Amy Davis by unanimous decision.
Heather Smith vs Chandra Engel. Engel got a takedown and spent the majority of the round controlling position. Smith scored a sweep but Engel scrambled and ended the round on top. Round two had Engel getting a quick takedown, transitioning to mount and working GNP to set up the armbar for the tapout win at 2:45 of round two.
Jocelyn Gutierrez vs Wanda Nilson. Guiterrez started with strong punches but Nilson scored with a takedown and scrambled to secure a dominant position. Nilson tried for a triangle, then switched off to an armbar to get the submission win at 1:11 of round one.
Alix Whittle vs Vivian Terrazas. Terrazas had a striking advantage when standing but Whittle jumped guard to try for a guillotine choke. Terrazas escaped and worked GNP before both fighters scrambled for position, attempted submissions and worked escapes. The round ended with Terrazas securing back control. Round two had good striking from both fighters before Whittle again jumped guard looking for a guillotine choke that Terrazas escaped. Whittle worked for submissions off of her back but Terrazas picked her up and slammed her 3-4 times. The round ended with Terrazas working for a triangle choke. Round three had both fighters again striking well before Whittle once again jumped guard for a guillotine choke and Terrazas again escaped by slamming out and she worked GNP until Whittle trapped an arm to try for a submission. Terrazas escaped, took mount and worked GNP to end the round. The scorecards were read and the winner by unanimous decision was Vivian Terrazas.
Edwina White vs Jessica Kennett. White started with good punches to set up a takedown. On the ground Kennett tried to defend, but from full mount White flurried with strong GNP including multiple Mongolian chops (double hammer fist) to get the TKO win at 2:20 of round one.
Vanessa Wexler vs Nadia Nixon. Almost all of round one was spent in the Thai clinch with both fighters spending time in control and both mixing their strikes between knees, punches and elbows. Round two had Wexler getting a takedown to set up her GNP attack for the majority of the round. The action slowed and the referee stood the fighters and Wexler landed a kick that knocked down Nixon and the round ended with Wexler working GNP from back control. Round three saw a fast takedown from Wexler and on the ground she worked from mount with GNP to set up an armbar that got her the submission win at 1:03 of round three.
Heather Sachlaben vs Amanda Hein. Hein trapped a kick to score a takedown but Sachlaben controlled the fall, took mount, worked GNP, transitioned to back control and set in the RNC for the submission victory at :55 of round one.
Erika Devins vs Nayleen Schmidt. Devins got a single leg takedown and transitioned to mount for solid GNP before working for a head and arm triangle choke. Schmidt got a reversal, took mount and worked GNP to end the round. Round two had Schmidt getting an early knock down and working GNP before Devins worked back to her feet. Devins secured standing head control and from the side worked to set in an choke that Schmidt escaped. The fighters traded strikes to end the round. Round three was back and forth standing action before it hit the mat. Half of the rest of the round was spent with Devins in mount working GNP until Schmidt got a reversal, took mount and worked GNP to end the round. The scorecards determined the winner and by split decision it was Nayleen Schmidt.
JJ Aldrich vs Amanda Arreay in a Muay Thai bout. Aldrich controlled the action for all three rounds with the action being punctuated by spinning backfist's and spinning back kicks. The scorecards were read and Aldrich got the win by unanimous decision.

Heart of the night goes to Jennifer Berg for taking the brutal body kicks of her opponent and never faltering.
Takedown of the night goes to Angela Samaro for her huge slam early in her title winning performance.
KO/TKO of the night goes to Edwina White for her GNP victory.
Technique of the night goes to Edwina White for using the Mongolian chop multiple times in her GNP win.
Submission of the night goes to Wanda Nilson for her slick transition from a triangle choke into the fight winning armbar.
Fight of the night goes to Alix Whittle and Vivian Terrazas for their back and forth battle that showcased a relentless pace and highlighted the well rounded skills of both fighters.
